This Cookie Policy explains how ZenSell.ai uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) on our website (zensell.ai) and through the ZenSell AI chat widget once it is installed on a merchant's WooCommerce or Shopify storefront.

The ZenSell AI chat widget sets one first-party cookie on merchant storefronts:

• zensell_attr — a session-scoped identifier the widget sets after a shopper adds an item to cart via chat. It is used to match the resulting order back to the conversation for revenue-attribution reporting shown to the merchant. It expires after 24 hours, contains no personal data, and is strictly necessary for that feature to work. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We reviewed the current codebase for analytics, advertising, and tracking scripts (for example Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog, Hotjar, or similar). At this time zensell.ai does not use analytics or advertising cookies. We do not run third-party trackers on our marketing site or in the merchant dashboard.

Because we do not use non-essential cookies, there is nothing to opt out of today. If that changes, we will update this page and, where legally required, ask for your consent before enabling any new tracking technology.

Merchants using the plugin can disable ZenSell AI (and therefore the zensell_attr cookie) at any time from their WordPress or Shopify admin.
